Nature photographer
After several jobs where I didn't quite find myself, in 2007 I decided it was time to take my passion seriously and I founded PhotoLife, one of the first photography schools in the country. In those early years we were pioneers in many ways, because the modern photography courses, workshops and photo tours were just at the beginning. Even though today I do less of these activities, I still like to teach photography and travel all over the world with fellow photographers. After all, this was my main job for more than 15 years.
I always liked to find ways to collaborate with other photographers and I always admired the projects that managed to bring photographers together. Around the year 2015, the idea of organising the best Romanian nature photographers in an NGO appeared and I founded Forona (Romanian Nature Photographers Association) together with 7 other photographers and friends. It was a big success and now we have more than 130 members from all over the country working on common projects.
In addition to these, I had the opportunity to collaborate with international photography projects, including Wild Wonders of Europe or Rewilding Europe, for smaller or bigger parts of these projects that were developed in Romania.

Until now I have organised 7 personal photography exhibitions and I participated in numerous group exhibitions. The most interesting ones are:
Wild Romania | outdoor and indoor photography exhibition organised in the main cities of Romania (București, Timișoara, Brașov, Sibiu, Cluj-Napoca, Constanța, Craiova and Iași) and in some cities in Spain and Poland with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute.

American Parks | personal photography exhibition and documentary film presented in Brașov and București.

Aves | exhibition about Romanian avifauna at the Heinz Sielmann Naturparkzentrum in Germany.
Editorial work
I have collaborated with many magazines and publications as a photographer, both on national and international level. These include: National Geographic (two covers illustrated and an article written about the Wild Romania project), WWF Panda Magazine, PHOTO Magazine, Destinations Magazine, National Geographic Traveller, PHOTO Travel (editor-in-chief of the only magazine in Romania dedicated to nature and travel photography) and many more.
Awards
Even though I didn't participate very often, I managed to be semi-finalist or awarded in some photography competitions including: GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year, BIO Photo Contest, Bird Photographer of the Year and Memorial Maria Luisa. I have also been part of the jury at many photography contests, including Milvus Photocontest, the most important international photography competition in Romania.
