Into the Shadows
The first image from this series was created many years ago without realising it would be part of a series. Things started to fall into place on a photo tour in the Danube Delta, after a happy meeting with Jonas Classon, who inspired me with the idea of a series of this kind, which he had also been working on for a long time. Although I don't like to edit images more than necessary, for this specific series I went along with this experiment. However, the images are captured against a dark background, or with many shadows around and editing is mostly used to highlight the effect or to mask certain brighter areas.
No matter what stage of our career we are in, we should never fail to be inspired by the images we see or by the people we meet.
